7th seed Stanford went into halftime up 20 on 10th seed Arizona State. Freshmen guard Chasson Randle led Stanford with 27 points in the first half, breaking Reggie Miller’s Pac-10 record for points in a half set 1987 (24 against ASU). The Sun Devils 11 first half turnovers hurt the team as they were unable to stop Stanford's consist offense. In the 2nd half the Cardnial were able to maintain the big lead and won by 20.
Stanford will play cross town rival Cal Tomorrow at 6 pm.
Without a doubt the Playmaker of the game was Chasson Randle, who had a career high 30 points in the game.
