YAO MING: The Houston Rocket's center recently mentioned to the media that he's no longer the future of Chinese basketball. However, Yao, believes he'll play for the Chinese men's basketball team for the 2012 Olympics in London.
RAJON RONDO: Double R made sure to express at a recent Team USA practice the fact that the new Miami Heat are a work in progress, not Championship contenders.
Meanwhile, Rondo looked pretty decent in his Team USA debut. Rondo dished out 6 assists and booked seven points in a losing effort from the blue squad. Coach K and others will be trimming the roster from 19 to 15 guys. So far, Royce Young of CBS Sports blog, thinks Rondo will not be cut. We'll keep you updated.
