Remember when everybody argued endlessly over the #1 pick in the draft?
Oden! Durant! Oden! Durant! Oden! Durant!At the time, Bill Simmons wrote, "If you want to compete from now until 2020, take Oden. Simple."
Well we all know how that turned out. Kevin Durant is the scoring champ, and Greg Oden is rehabbing his knee for like the 11th time. I love the guy, and Oden can still be a force for years to come, maybe, but I'd take Durant, and so would you, about as quickly as we'd choose a pot of gold over a kick in the nuts.
